- Aejase is a versatile gear search engine originally developed by Khazaad. It disappeared from the Internet for a while (and became somewhat out-of-date as a result) but returned in 2005 under new management by Rien. Players may submit additions and corrections to this site to help maximize its usefulness.
- Another Avatar MUD Site, by Sheba, contains lots of useful information, including some race-class data, detailed worship data, a scroll library, player birthdays, and much more.
- Avatar Picture Page, hosted by Debonair, shows a photograph gallery of many Avatar MUD players in real life. This site also has forums for both discussion and gear auctions.

- Sandgroper's Avatar MUD Site provides good descriptions for most lowmort areas, including walking directions to them and useful gear found in them. It is also the original home of the "Stat Tables," which may now be found in an expanded and revised form at here
- Wikipedia: Avatar MUD is Wikipedia's page about Avatar MUD.
- Wiseman's Avatar race comparison chart is a great place to visit before creating a new character, as it consists of a handy sortable table of statistics for all of Avatar's different races.
- Zaf's Little Stats contains searchable herochat logs, and death and level statistics.
