This ring is an imperfect as they come.
You look at a misshapen ring in your inventory... This ring was formed from bits of detonated elemental rings - at least once the chaotic cloud of energy was not looking. The Kzinti found quickly that with some experimentation and melding with kzintium that the rings kept their elemental energy, protecting the wearer.
