This clerical magic surrounds the target character with a variety of protection spells, including armor, holy armor, holy aura, bless, frenzy, protection evil, protection good, and sanctuary. The Awen spell allows the casting of a group of spells at once. The amount of mana it costs is balanced by the speed of casting a variety of complex spells simultaneously. NOTE: the awen affect which shows up on your affects list is merely a placeholder and does not actually modify anything.

Prerequisite(s): Holy Aura, Sanctuary.

Syntax: cast 'awen' <character>.

Characters will find this cleric "macro" spell (or its variant Aegis), like both Foci and Fortitudes, highly valuable for buffing either themselves or others.
