i don't think there is any difference other than the cosmetic ones you mentioned. i'm not sure why it sometimes personalizes and sometimes doesn't, and sometimes gives both poisoning and lock kits. my bld for example gets the "a set of lockpicks" ones and also a poisoning kit called "CharName's kiss of Death", whereas my asn gets a personalized "CharName's Professional Hallmark" poisoning kit, and my shf just gets the "a set of lockpicks". i don't know if it's random on the same char or perhaps based on class or something.--3nki 10:21, 24 January 2012 (EST)

Is this item different to 'a set of lockpicks' - which is also found in the area, also bound to the person who gets them, and has exactly the same stats, but different name and no personalisation in the name and no keyword 'tools'? --Shadowtop 15:34, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

: This item is different from Set Of Lock-picks.  It has more uses, less weight, and it's higher quality.  Enki's onto something though about the variable pricing though.  I think this might be based on tier (hero vs lord).  Waite 09:35, 24 January 2012 (CST)

:: a) The Set Of Lock-picks is in Outsiders area. Maybe Shadowtop is talking about a different item with the same name. b) Just fyi, my lord rog was asked for a catseye gemstone for the lockpicks. - Belag 12:52, 25 January 2012 (EST)

Yes. I've updated the page with how to get this item. --Ylem 09:24, 24 January 2012 (EST)

This item is different from Set Of Lock-picks. It has more uses, less weight, and it's higher quality. Enki's onto something though about the variable pricing though. I think this might be based on tier (hero vs lord). Waite 09:35, 24 January 2012 (CST)
