Rogue-tool-type objects have three values.
- Usage Type: This value determines which function(s) this rogue tool may perform, which may be to blackjack mobs, to disarm traps, to pick chests, to pick doors, and/or to poison weapons. Most rogue tools have only one function. Follow these links for more information about each rogue-tool type.
- Uses Number: This value determines how many times this rogue tool may yet be used before being consumed.
- Quality: This value (which is different from Object Quality) determines how good this rogue tool is as a percentage. When examined, a rogue tool's quality value will be expressed as an adjective according to the table shown at right.
